  • wait

There's this song that goes like:  Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord. Now naturally, like all christain stations do, it plays about once an hour.

I think the key word in this song is "wait". It's not strength will rise from the Lord. I mean, technically that's what it is, but the word "as we wait upon" is in there.

Usually, "wait" gives a negative connotation. I think of myself, sweating, boredly reading the amsement park map over and over as I wait to ride the Poltergeist. Or when you're in line for the bathrooms and you just had to be behind the girl who's lunch didn't go down alright. The point is, waiting is never good. It conntotates lines and eye rolls.

Waiting is something the Lord is teaching me right now. I have yet to see what else will become of this. I think this song will apply to more than just my spiritual life. Maybe. I don't know yet.

I just felt the general public should know about it.
